WEBER SHANDWICK WINS AT CIPR SCOTLAND AWARDS

Weber Shandwick were awarded with three gold and three silver accolades at the CIPR Pride Awards 2018. 

The event, held at the Sheraton hotel in Edinburgh, celebrated the very best in the Scottish communications industry over the past year.

There were gold awards for campaigns in the Healthcare category with DHI on the DigiInventors Challenge, in the Transport and Tourism category with Caledonian Sleeper and in Photography and Design with VELUX.

The DigiInventors Challenge is a partnership between the Digital Health and Care Institute and Andy Murray, and involved the creation and promotion of a competition aimed at teenagers, aiming develop entrepreneurial skills and increase awareness of careers in digital health and care.

The Gold award in the Transport and Tourism category commended a campaign to encourage visitors from London to the Highlands of Scotland with Caledonian Sleeper. The campaign involved all areas of our business, from analytics, partnerships and marketing, to digital ad design, social media and influencer work.

The award for best Photography and Design recognised the innovative approach to social media, animation and graphic design taken with VELUX, focusing on the growth of Pinterest as an inspirational channel for home improvers.

Further silver awards were secured in the Social Media category with VELUX, in the Publication category with Caledonian Sleeper and in the Corporate and Business category with Lothian and Borders Railway.
